Dr. McDougall
This resource is where I learned a lot about a high carb, lower fat diet. He has been promoting this diet for a long time and even runs programs where you live on site with him and change your life/diet around. He advocates for a plant-based diet based on starches. Admittedly we eat a lot more fruit than he recommends because we love fruit and thrive on it but you are the only you and you can figure out what your body works best on 🙂
He has a cool little picture book that easily explains what you can/can’t eat. Check it out HERE.

Book by T.Colin Campbell. A scientist who grew up on a farm. He set out to find out what the healthiest diet for long term health was. Thinking he would find evidence that an animal-based diet was the best for health and longevity, he actually found the opposite was true. This book dives into the research and science T. Colin Cambell has done in this field that implicates that a plant-based diet is an optimal diet for health.
